Novena to the Divine Child
DAY 1
O Sweet
Child Jesus, here at your feet are souls that, conscious of their
nothingness turns to You, who are all. We have so much need of your
help. Look on us O! Jesus, with love since you are all powerful,
help us in our poverty.
By
your Divine Infancy, Oh Jesus, grant the grace that we now ask: … Do
not look upon my unworthiness, but rather on my faith and show me
your infinite mercy.
Divine Child… Pray for us.
DAY 2
O
Splendor of the heavenly Father, in whose face shines the light of
the divinity. We adore you profoundly and we confess you the true
Son of the living God. We offer You, O Lord, the humble homage of
all our being, Grant that we may never separate ourselves from you,
my highest goal.
By
your Divine Infancy, O! Jesus, grant the grace that we now ask: … Do
not look upon my unworthiness, but rather on my faith and show me
your infinite mercy.

DAY 3
O Holy
Child Jesus, in gazing upon your countenance, from which comes the
most beautiful of smiles, we feel ourselves with a lively trust.
Yes. We hope for all from your goodness. Shed, O Jesus, on us and on
those dear to us your smile of grace and we will praise your
infinite mercy.
By
your Divine Infancy, O! Jesus, grant the grace that we now ask: … Do

DAY 4
O Child
Jesus, whose forehead is adorned with a crown, we accept you as our
absolute sovereign, we do not wish to serve any longer the evil one,
our passions, or sin. Reign, O Jesus over our poor hearts and make
them all yours forever.

your Divine Infancy, O! Jesus, grant the grace that we now ask: … Do

DAY 5
We gaze
upon You, O Most Sweet Redeemer in your royal attire. Grant, O Child
Jesus that we may respond to your great sacrifice and not refuse
when You offer us some difficulty to suffer with You and for You.

DAY 6
O Most
Lovable Child, in contemplating you as you sustain the world, our
heart fills with joy. Among the innumerable beings that you sustain,
we also are one. You look on us, uphold us at every instant and
guard us as your own. Look after, O Jesus, these humble beings and
help us in our necessities.
By
your Divine Infancy, O! Jesus, grant the grace that we now ask: … Do

DAY 7
On Your
breast, O Child Jesus shines a Cross. It is a standard of our
redemption. We also, O Divine Savior, have our crosses, that,
although light, very often weighs us down. Help us to bear it and
may the carrying of it be fruitful. You well know how weak and
worthless we are.

your Divine Infancy, O! Jesus, grant the grace that we now ask: … Do

DAY 8
Together
with the cross, we see on your breast, O Child Jesus, a little
golden heart. It is the image of your heart, which is truly golden
on account of its infinite tenderness. You are the true friend that
generously gives Himself; for the one He loves. Continue to pour out
on us O Jesus, the enthusiasm which your love inspires and teach us
to respond always to your great love.

DAY 9
How many
blessings, O Little Child has your almighty right hand poured out on
those who honor you and call upon you. Bless us also, O Child Jesus,
our souls, our body and our interests. Bless and help us in our
necessities, and grant is what we now desire. Listen with compassion
to our prayers and we will bless Your Holy Name every day.
