Testimony

The Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Central Florida invited us, the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary, to come for an evening to help lead the students in a time of praise and worship before the Blessed Sacrament. On November 28, four sisters from Miami drove to Orlando to join our sisters who serve in the Diocese of Orlando to pray and minister with the students.

The evening began with Holy Mass which was celebrated by Fr. Jorge Torres, the vocations director for the Diocese of Orlando after which the Blessed Sacrament was exposed for a time of praise and worship. It was a powerful evening in which there was a sense that the Lord was saying to each person, "You are wanted...you are good, you are loved by Me." This sense was confirmed by a Scripture reading from Isaiah 49:15-16. "Can a mother forget her infant, be without tenderness for the child of her womb? Even should she forget, I will never forget you. See, upon the palms of my hands I have written your name." It was a night full of grace for everyone there. The students who participated had a beautiful openness to receive us and all that the Lord desired to do in them and they responded with joy to the presence and ministry of our sisters.

Below you will find a few pictures from our evening of prayer with the students.
